Training a computer vision system that needs to work on the road? Download this roadside video sample to see the kind of custom data we can collect to power your computer vision technology—whether it’s a self-driving car or a video surveillance system.
Without training on a variety of angles, environments, and objects, your computer vision technology could be seeing our world the wrong way.
The images in these video sequences have been collected to show cars and people in varying road conditions. Download this handful of samples to see what customized road, car, and pedestrian data should look like.
Why should you download this sample?
- Use the sample as a standard for visual training data and decrease the likelihood that your machine cannot detect roads, people, or cars
- See the visual data scientists use to build security surveillance technology that has the ability to accurately depict pedestrians and cars
- Identify and build a data collection plan to address issues like spatial awareness and precision on the road.
This sample dataset contains six .mp4 video files that depict images of typical roadside elements not limited to peoples and cars. These videos were a part of a custom data collection library that was gathered by Summa Linguae Technologies in the city of Vancouver, BC, Canada, in 2018.
