Krzysztof Zdanowski

Team member
Krzysztof Zdanowski dedicates his work to developing and innovating new ways of doing business by following his life values – flexibility and transparency. Krzysztof comes from Warsaw, Poland, grew up in a Polish-Canadian family and graduated with BA in Applied Linguistics at the Tischner European University in Krakow, Poland.
In 2009 he established his first translation brand – Spectraling, that soon became part of the Summa Linguae Group. As CEO of Summa Linguae, he led the company to develop a unique business model based on a mix of organic growth and M&As. In 6 years he took the company public and closed 6 polish and 2 international acquisitions placing his business among the top100 biggest language service providers worldwide. He is fascinated by processes of innovation in cultural and business environments.
Krzysztof is a licensed pilot, active golfer and baseball fan.
Agata Kowalska

Graduate of the Faculty of Law at the Jagiellonian University and a postgraduate student in Copyright, Press and Publishing Law. In 2008, Agata Kowalska was entered on the list of legal counsels of the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Krakow. Before the law firm in which she works at present was established, she had been cooperating for a few years with renowned Krakow-based law firms specializing in capital market transactions. She has several years of experience in conducting and coordinating due diligence processes in companies (mainly those operating on the fuel market) for the purposes of acquisitions, mergers and transformations of legal entities, as well as introducing companies on the New Connect market. Agata Kowalska specializes in providing legal services to new tech companies (IT, e-commerce, biotechnology) and in intellectual property law, with particular emphasis on Internet law (protection of intellectual property rights infringed on the Internet, legal aspects of e-commerce and e-marketing). She is the author of numerous publications on new technology law. Agata Kowalska is a member of the Supervisory Boards of SUMMA LINGUAE S.A. and Simply User Sp. z o.o. (a new tech company).
Krzysztof Antoni Zdanowski

Born in 1949. Graduate of the Faculty of Electronics at the Warsaw University of Technology. He has also completed a Postgraduate Program in Banking at the Warsaw School of Economics. Krzysztof Antoni Zdanowski worked for 20 years as a university teacher in the research team at CMKP (Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education) in Warsaw. In the 1990s, he was IT Department Director at Bank Handlowy in Warsaw – working with the Implementation Team, he adapted, in five years, the bank’s IT systems to the current market requirements. Since 1997, he has been a member of the Board of Directors at “WIŚNIOWSKI” Company. As an Advisor to the CEO, he was responsible, among others, for the implementation of a Quality Management System, as a result of which “WIŚNIOWSKI” was certified to ISO 9001. For many years, he supervised the HR, IT and telecommunications areas in this company. Mr. Zdanowski served as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Spectraling Sp. z o.o., and he is currently a Member of the Supervisory Board of Summa Linguae S.A. In private – the father of a happy family. Mr. Zdanowski and his wife have a house in the mountains. He is passionate about cultural tourism, the relation of tradition and development, as well as the role of communication and language in processes.
Michał Butscher

Born in 1975. Studied Law and Administration at the Warsaw University. Studied at the Warsaw School of Economics, where he majored in Finance and Banking, Management and Marketing; MA in business planning.
Founded and managed one of the top Polish language service providers, since 2012 known as Summa Linguae SA [GPW NC IPO 2015] – 7 years as CEO, between 2011 – 2015 Chairman of he Supervisory Board. Since 2015 VP Sales and Marketing.
Founded and managed Fundusz Hipoteczny DOM SA [GPW NC IPO 2012] – the first and dominant player in the Polish equity release market, where 2008- 2015 as VP he was responsible for sales, marketing, operations and legal.
Over the years advised, managed and invested among others in real estate, software/ IT, construction, business support and financial services. In the past member of supervisory boards at i.a. Foksal NFI and Miraculum SA, currently at Euro Tax SA.
Bartłomiej Sieczkowski

Born in 1978. Bartłomiej Sieczkowski has graduated from the Faculty of Management at the Cracow University of Economics, majoring in: Accounting, Enterprise Operation and Development. He started his professional career as a financial and accounting specialist at Suder&Suder. In 2006-2009, he was Investment Director at the Salwator Group. Since 2008, he has been involved in the hospitality industry.
At present, Bartłomiej Sieczkowski is a member of the management boards of Hotels Global Investment Group Sp. z o.o., which operates Hilton Garden Inn Kraków hotel, 3one Sp. z o.o., 3one development Sp. z o.o., Vistula Development Sp. zo.o., IMBS Sp. z o.o. and others. In private, Bartłomiej Sieczkowski invests in financial markets.
Jochen Hummel

Jochen is co-founder and CEO of Coreon, the most advanced SaaS solution for multilingual knowledge systems. He is CEO of ESTeam AB, a provider of language technology and semantic solutions to EU organizations and corporations. He is also the current chairman of LT-Innovate, the Forum for Europe’s Language Technology Industry. Jochen has a software development background and grew his first company, TRADOS, to the world leader in translation memory and terminology software. Founded in Stuttgart, TRADOS had offices on three continents and was headquartered in Silicon Valley, when the company was sold in 2005 for USD 60 million. In 2006 Jochen founded Metaversum, the inventor of the virtual online world Twinity and was its CEO until 2010. A well-known, internationally respected software executive and serial entrepreneur, Jochen serves on boards and is mentor/angel for several start-ups in Berlin.
