Krzysztof Zdanowski
President of the Management Board / CEO
Team member
Krzysztof Zdanowski dedicates his work to developing and innovating new ways of doing business by following his life values – flexibility and transparency. Krzysztof comes from Warsaw, Poland, grew up in a Polish-Canadian family and graduated with BA in Applied Linguistics at the Tischner European University in Krakow, Poland.
In 2009 he established his first translation brand – Spectraling, that soon became part of the Summa Linguae Group. As CEO of Summa Linguae, he led the company to develop a unique business model based on a mix of organic growth and M&As. In 6 years he took the company public and closed 6 polish and 2 international acquisitions placing his business among the top100 biggest language service providers worldwide. He is fascinated by processes of innovation in cultural and business environments.
Krzysztof is a licensed pilot, active golfer and baseball fan.
Madhuri Hegde

Madhuri Hegde completed a Master's degree in Management at Heriot Watt University (MBA) and postgraduate studies in French at Alliance Francaise de Bangalore. From 1993-2000 she worked in the French Ministry of Economics and Finance, coordinating French exports and investments in India. In 2003 she founded Mayflower Language Services Pvt Ltd, based in Bangalore, India. Since 2016, she has worked closely with Summa Linguae Technologies, first serving on the Supervisory Board and now as a Member of the Management Board. Madhuri Hegde is also involved in activities for women. In 2018 she was awarded the title of Women Entrepreneur of the Year by The CEO Magazine.
Piotr Misztal

Piotr Misztal graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations with a master's degree in International Relations and completed the ICAN Institute, where he received a diploma in management. In his professional career he went through important positions in companies such as KPMG Polska (Supervisor, 1993-1995), ERSTE Investment/IB Austria Financial Advisors (Investment Director, 1996-1997), Riversiede Europe Partners (Partner, 1998-2007), Societe Generle Asset Management (Private Equity Partner, 2007-2011) and since 2011 he has been a Partner in V4C General Partner Sarl, based in Luxembourg. Apart from the Company, he performs investment and advisory activities in the companies EURO MC Sp. z o.o., REVO Property Sp. z o.o. and PJKZ anusz Kujawski Sp. k.
Krzysztof Antoni Zdanowski

Born in 1949. Graduate of the Faculty of Electronics at the Warsaw University of Technology. He has also completed a Postgraduate Program in Banking at the Warsaw School of Economics. Krzysztof Antoni Zdanowski worked for 20 years as a university teacher in the research team at CMKP (Centre of Postgraduate Medical Education) in Warsaw. In the 1990s, he was IT Department Director at Bank Handlowy in Warsaw – working with the Implementation Team, he adapted, in five years, the bank’s IT systems to the current market requirements. Since 1997, he has been a member of the Board of Directors at “WIŚNIOWSKI” Company. As an Advisor to the CEO, he was responsible, among others, for the implementation of a Quality Management System, as a result of which “WIŚNIOWSKI” was certified to ISO 9001. For many years, he supervised the HR, IT and telecommunications areas in this company. Mr. Zdanowski served as a Member of the Supervisory Board of Spectraling Sp. z o.o., and he is currently a Member of the Supervisory Board of Summa Linguae S.A. In private – the father of a happy family. Mr. Zdanowski and his wife have a house in the mountains. He is passionate about cultural tourism, the relation of tradition and development, as well as the role of communication and language in processes.
Agata Kowalska

Graduate of the Faculty of Law at the Jagiellonian University and a postgraduate student in Copyright, Press and Publishing Law. In 2008, Agata Kowalska was entered on the list of legal counsels of the District Chamber of Legal Counsels in Krakow. Before the law firm in which she works at present was established, she had been cooperating for a few years with renowned Krakow-based law firms specializing in capital market transactions. She has several years of experience in conducting and coordinating due diligence processes in companies (mainly those operating on the fuel market) for the purposes of acquisitions, mergers and transformations of legal entities, as well as introducing companies on the New Connect market. Agata Kowalska specializes in providing legal services to new tech companies (IT, e-commerce, biotechnology) and in intellectual property law, with particular emphasis on Internet law (protection of intellectual property rights infringed on the Internet, legal aspects of e-commerce and e-marketing). She is the author of numerous publications on new technology law. Agata Kowalska is a member of the Supervisory Boards of SUMMA LINGUAE S.A. and Simply User Sp. z o.o. (a new tech company).
Jochen Hummel

Jochen is co-founder and CEO of Coreon, the most advanced SaaS solution for multilingual knowledge systems. He is CEO of ESTeam AB, a provider of language technology and semantic solutions to EU organizations and corporations. He is also the current chairman of LT-Innovate, the Forum for Europe’s Language Technology Industry. Jochen has a software development background and grew his first company, TRADOS, to the world leader in translation memory and terminology software. Founded in Stuttgart, TRADOS had offices on three continents and was headquartered in Silicon Valley, when the company was sold in 2005 for USD 60 million. In 2006 Jochen founded Metaversum, the inventor of the virtual online world Twinity and was its CEO until 2010. A well-known, internationally respected software executive and serial entrepreneur, Jochen serves on boards and is mentor/angel for several start-ups in Berlin.
Rafał Ałasa

Rafał Ałasa graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics with a Master's degree in Finance and Banking, and holds a professional title of Chartered Management Accountant and a professional title of Chartered Financial Analyst. In 2007-2009 he held the position of Analyst and later (2009-2012) Associate in Unicredit CAIB Poland Sp. z o.o. Since 2012 he has held the position of Investment Director in V4C Advisers Sp. z o.o. Currently he is a member of the supervisory boards of Dreamcommerce S.A. and KOM-EKO S.A.
Wiliam Watson

William Watson graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a specialization in Economics, and completed INSEAD with a Masters of Business Administration degree. He has been the Owner and Managing Partner of Value4Capital Holding Limited, Guernsey and V4C General Partner Sarl since 2011. Previously, he held important positions in SGAM/Amundi Private Equity Funds (Chief Investment Officer, 2005-2011) and Baring Corilius Private Equity Limited (Owner and Partner, 2004-2005). Over the last 3 years Mr. William Watson has been or still is a member of the management or supervisory bodies or a partner in the following companies: V4C Eastern Europe Carried Interest SLP (shareholder), SGAM Eastern Europe FCPR (shareholder), Arbonne Capital Advisers SAS (shareholder), Value4Capital Holdings Limited (shareholder) and others.
Emília Mamajová

Emília Mamajová graduated with honors with an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the Matej Bel University in Slovakia. In 2017 she co-founded ESPIRA Investments, a private equity firm targeting growth capital investments in Central European SMEs.
Prior to that, Ms. Mamajova was a Head of Czech Republic and Slovakia with PineBridge Investments Central Europe (2011-2016). Previously, she was an Associate at investment firm Benson Oak Capital and an Investment Manager at Penta Investments (2004-2011). Ms. Mamajova is a member of the management or supervisory bodies of JK Education group and ICON Communication Centres. She is also an investment committee member of Tilia Impact Ventures, the first 'impact first' investment fund in the Czech Republic.

Tatiana Balkovicová

Tatiana Balkovicová graduated from the University of Economics in Bratislava with a master’s degree in International Business and holds a professional title of the Chartered Certified Accountant (FCCA). In 2001-2005 she worked in the financial advisory of the KPMG’s Prague office, in 2006-2018 she held several management positions in the financial advisory / M&A transaction services of the Deloitte’s Prague office. Since 2018 she has been with Genesis Capital s.r.o., currently in the Senior Investment Director role. She acts a member of supervisory boards of GTH catering a.s., D2G a.s., D2Automation s.r.o. and group entities of 11 Entertainment Holding a.s.
